Writing and the podcast

I will open with commentary on some of the podcasts that I have listened to on writing, editing, finding an agent and the glue that makes your story bind together. Writing a story takes more then just a thought, it takes a creative link to the world you imagine.

Podcasts are definitely a great tool for writers! Some of the podcasts I have felt most helpful are:

~Pen On Fire~ The reason I chose this podcast is because the foundation of it is interviews with real authors. They discuss in detail and in length on what it takes to get published, what the steps are in finding an agent and what agents are looking for. The authors discuss the most important things they have learned since being published. Who has inspired them and what one thing they feel is the most important.

~B&N Meet The Writers~

This is a great site to listen to writers talk about experiences they have had with publishing, agents and more. Great authors can be heard on this podcast with interesting and intelligent information.
